New Books. Part Three.

SHOWBIZ, PIONEERS, BEST SINGERS, MUSICIANS AND ENTERTAINERS FROM 1606 TO THE PRESENT
By Ruth Sielberg, London Monthly Herald, Staff Writer

Conversations was on 12 Top Ten CMJ Radio charts culminating in an invitation to sing at Jazzweek’s kick-off to the Rochester International Jazz Festival, at the Montage.

Ms. Stephanie Jordan.

7-Ms. Stephanie Jordan in her silk green dress catches your eyes. She reminds me of the flashy dashy days of Josephine Baker at the Lido in Paris. Ms. Jordan toured Europe and the United States on many occasions and enjoyed an enormous success. In a paragraph of the book, the author referred to her as the classy lady of modern Jazz.

It is so refreshing to see a rainbow of wonderful female artists of a great talent gracing the cover of the book. I loved this new volume. It contains wealth of information not readily available elsewhere. It is a splendid undertaking.

Book Info: Available in May 2007. Published by Times Square Press and FAMSPA.
